Welcome to "oddly specific gift guide day!"
Just kidding. It's not a real day. I just made that up because I seem to have selected a weirdly precise type of person to shop for today.

To help you out with your holiday shopping, each week I'll feature gifts tailored to fit certain tastes, all sourced from that wonderful vintage and handmade resource, Etsy.

{ gifts for the woodland cook }

"Woodland Cupcake Kit" by sweetestelle

How cuuuute would these cupcakes turn out?  Plus maybe your giftee will return the favor and grace you with your own little forested cuppy....

"Rustic Wood Chalkboard, Oval Shaped" by roxyheartvintage

This would look so great on a buffet table, loaded down with holiday treats.  If I ever entertained, I'd want this so bad!

"Owl Kitchen Towel -Black" by ooladesigns
There's tons of adorable woodland themed tea towels out there, but I chose these because 1) they have pom poms! and 2) "owl kitchen towel" is way fun to say.

"Holiday Christmas Dinner Party Engraved Birch Bark Wood Salsa Bar" by braggingbags

These have to be one of the most randomly specific items I have ever found on Etsy.  They are salsa bar markers.  Glorious.

"Vintage woodland cream and sugar server set, on a little dish or trayFrom sunshinesketches" by sunshinesketches

I've had my eye on this little gem for a while.  It's the creme de la creme (yuk yuk yuk!) of faux bois goodness. No woodland kitchen would be complete without.

Check out these other gift guides for even more handmade for the holidays ideas.

{ what do you think -- too specific of a gift guide? }

    Considering I don't have a woodland cook on my christmas list....this might be a little too specific. but if i did, this would be perfect. so...thanks?

    ps. i thought i should let you know that i read 'pom poms' as "poRN poms". I'm like...wtf. what the heck is a porn pom? and then I slowed down and re-read it. *facepalm*

    I think specific gift guides are the BEST! I think a blogger pal Danielle's cake stands would fit nicely in this guide too! Here's her blog: http://sundayhatch.blogspot.com/
