We had this great idea  to go geocaching this weekend.

green river

After a few missteps, a little pen forgetting and general frustration with my gps space machine, we ended up in the complete middle of nowhere.

plzandthanx

It was a totally beautiful slice of nowhere, and it's really neat to feel in utterly forgein territory only 20 minutes from home.

We never did find a cache...

face?

...but doesn't this tree look like it has a face??

{ what did you do this weekend? }

    Beautiful photos!! I can't wait until it's warm enough here to go exploring outside. I tried canning pickles for the first time this weekend. Yum!

    the tree is so awesome, I want one in my yard to decorate at Halloween. So, I learned all about geocaching from a friend last summer, and we wanted to do it but never did get around to it, sounds like quite the adventure! Where were you? We just went up to Kanasket Palmer state park last year to check it out and it looked like fun to spend a rainy weekend in one of the Yurts with alot of board games.
