We had this great idea to go geocaching this weekend.
After a few missteps, a little pen forgetting and general frustration with my gps space machine, we ended up in the complete middle of nowhere.
It was a totally beautiful slice of nowhere, and it's really neat to feel in utterly forgein territory only 20 minutes from home.
We never did find a cache...
...but doesn't this tree look like it has a face??
{ what did you do this weekend? }
Beautiful photos!! I can't wait until it's warm enough here to go exploring outside. I tried canning pickles for the first time this weekend. Yum!
Oh those pictures look surreal! Like fairyland! I was very boring and stayed home to organize : P
That tree looks incredible and what a beautiful photos. We had a lovely weekend with stinky cheese and wine:) Happy Monday, sunshine
I <3 geocaching! Did you know it started in Washington with a can of baked beans?
looks like you found a nice spot! We didn't do anything too brilliant. the boypiece can barely move without all the blood rushing to his hand :( boo

the tree is so awesome, I want one in my yard to decorate at Halloween. So, I learned all about geocaching from a friend last summer, and we wanted to do it but never did get around to it, sounds like quite the adventure! Where were you? We just went up to Kanasket Palmer state park last year to check it out and it looked like fun to spend a rainy weekend in one of the Yurts with alot of board games.
omg!! how crazy that i just found out about geocaching the other day!!
haha, i missed you! that tree does look like it has a face. always wonderful to discover slices of beauty and unknown territory so close to home!
omg GORGEOUS! thats funny about geocaching. i've never done that specifically, but i basically do a lot of the same thing at work. can i please come visit???!
whoa. well. it paid off getting lost i guess? (i'm not too sure what geocaching is) great photos :D that tree-face is kind of scary though.
