We had one of those weekends where we did a lot of stuff,
but at the end you go "wait, where did the days go?"
The sunshine was glorious this weekend, but the clear skies kept the temps pretty cool.
I hate to say we wasted some of it by shopping instead of, say, shiver-y hiking....
...but look. Pretty!
I scored this dress (for like, half this price) at an awesome little boutique.
We've also been wanting the perfect table to live behind our sofa (so we can stop balancing things precariously on surfaces things were not meant to be balanced upon). After TWO HOURS at Ikea, we picked up this fella.
Round out the weekend with some delicious 'chocolate' stout (as in color, not flavor), and I'd say a heartily random time was had by all.

Psssst! - I also bought this sweater in olive green, on double clearance. They only have 'em in stores, but $14.95?! c'mon!

successful shopping weekend! i always spend 3+ hours in ikea, it's ridiculous!
Is there any trip to IKEA that doesn't take at least 2 hours? that place is a madhouse! Unless you go at say, 11am on a Tuesday!
I didn't do enough this weekend. But at least I enjoyed the sun a little :)

Yes, as streamlined as their products are, there is little efficiency in trips to Ikea. When we first moved into our townhouse in September, we were running all over Toronto to try and find the pieces we needed, which of course were not ALL in stock at a single Ikea. The greater Toronto area has 4.
But, I did develop a strong affection for Swedish meatballs, plus the knowledge that it's like $2.99 for 15 after 7 pm or something ridiculous like that - see how much time I've spent at Ikea????
