Happy Fashion Friday! I've been experimenting with a lot of new ideas lately, and I thought I'd play nice and share (especially since lots of your awesome blogs have inspired me!).
{ my new fashion loves }
After finally figuring out how to apply it, I am totally in love with the "cat eye" look. (c'mon -- how smokin' are The Ronettes?!)
This isn't so much new, but my love of oddly colored nail polishes is growing deeper. I must find this dark metallic green shade!
This is my nod to fall's animal print trend. It's just a little touch
(and it's something I already own : P), and I love the way it looks paired with plaid.
(and we all know how I loves me some plaid.) I've been wearing it nearly everyday.
Carrie's recent blog post inspired me to check out the new Tucker for Target line this week. To my utter surprise, I fell in love with this little floral number. I
never wear florals. But the punchy colors and tiny print had me. I wore it on Tuesday, and I'm pretty sure it's love.
(also note the wearing of ankle socks and pumps! two loves in one photo ... oh snap!)

We had a pretty low-key weekend at our house. Other than browsing for a new sofa (I swear, it's like the impossible quest), there were crafty times, learning to stream Netflix to our TV times, cute kitteness times, aaaaaaaaaand a surprise at the end of this post. : P

LittleGrayFox's Second Crafty Challenge. Visit her

The theme was "A Little Birdy Told Me..." Here's my entry:
( It basically turned into "Mean Girls: Birdie Edition." )
It's handstitched felt stuffed with fiber fill, some embroidery, and polymer clay leafies. Oh also, you can't tell from the photos, but I ran wire through the branch, so the limbs are pose-able!
I'll be posting an entry for one of my dear pals who's on vacation right now (jealous!), but I'll be back a little later today with a FASHIONy challenge post. : D
