The best parts:

As we're pulling up to the house (after a five hour drive that usually only takes 3 hours. Ugh)...
Husband: Where are we sleeping while we're at your parents' house?
Me: On our air mattress on the floor in the girls' room.
Husband: Oh, you brought our air mattress? I didn't know that.
---Silence---
Me: Um...you didn't see it probably because I didn't grab it. It's still at home. Crap!

Story 2 happened about 3.5 seconds after getting back from the grocery store.
Dad: Hey Leyla, where's the soda?
Me: Why are you asking me? It's your house.
Dad: You volunteered to bring soda.
---Silence---
Me: Oh yeah. I'm gonna run to the store real quick.

Lol...it was a good weekend :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-873208231558878147.post-34032550060689421752010-11-28T05:40:21.189-08:002010-11-28T05:40:21.189-08:00OMG I went to the store at 8:30 gaaaaaaaaaaaa and ...OMG I went to the store at 8:30 gaaaaaaaaaaaa and I was there the night before.
Yes the turkey timers are some sort of Al Quaida threat to give us all salmonella I rip them out and use my own.
I didn't realize until yesterday that I never put out the cranberry sauce - and no on asked!
Now I have 4 cans of cranberry sauce......Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!!!My Life Under the Bushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13836423832413060032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-873208231558878147.post-31185697417293179922010-11-26T21:48:35.311-08:002010-11-26T21:48:35.311-08:00LOVE LOVE LOVE

I love this :)

My Thanksgiving (which I've been working on for DAYS), was the best ever until the turkey.

The temp said it was done two hours before it was supposed to be. First issue. Second, nothing else was ready.

Fine, we will eat cold turkey. Finish everything else up, go to carve up the turkey and it is RAW.

So not happy. But the early wine is starting to help the situation! I am almost ready to just skip the turkey at this point.

Looking forward to more of your updates!! Happy Thanksgiving!Emily@VitaNostrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03604610049683621891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-873208231558878147.post-47155244628765859972010-11-25T10:40:28.637-08:002010-11-25T10:40:28.637-08:00What a great idea!
